I would like to show you an example of this underprint on a stamp but, as yet, I have been unable to locate one. The origin of this overprint is unknown but the portion shown above is believed to be only part of the print (as it overlaps both sides of the stamp). The full name is likely to be James Shirreff. No further details are known at this time.
