This underprint is thought to be from the firm Martin Brother’s. They were Cigar Shippers. They traded from: 25
Cheapside, Much later they became Messrs Martin Ltd and traded from 210 Piccadilly London. 1868. Unofficial underprint type 8 (over the gum) in blue. PP18 1d lake-red
(SG 43 or G1)
