I would like to show you an example of this underprint on a stamp but, as yet, I have been unable to locate one. Debenham, Tewson & Farmer were a firm of Auctioneers, Surveyors, Land and Estate Agents and traded from: London
E.C. The firm was founded in 1853 by Frank Gissing Debenham as Debenham & Tewson. Over the next few years it was also known as Debenham, Tewson & Farmer and later Debenham, Tewson, Farmer & Bridgewater. The firm still exists today in the form of International Property Advisors, DTZ Debenham Tie Leung (part of DTZ Holdings). Their main DTZ London office is now at:
